1. Global Health Program
Position Type: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (Tenure-Track) faculty positions
The Global Health Program (GHP) at the College of Public Health is a newly established program offering both a Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in global health. Our program targets international talent with a curriculum completely taught in English and is comprised entirely of international students. The GHP equips students with research expertise capable of providing scientific evidence to solve critical public health issues. With an emphasis on having an international faculty, community-based research, and cultural sensitivity, we train students to apply theories and design intervention through our rigorous course load consisting of work both in the classroom and in the field. Students have the opportunity to have a truly global education.
The GHP at the College of Public Health of National Taiwan University is seeking full-time tenure-track faculty members at any level (assistant, associate, or full professor) within the fields of global public health. Candidates with research expertise and teaching interests in the following concentrations are very welcome to apply:
- planetary health, One Health, climate change and health
- global health policy, health work force in resource limited settings, public health leadership and advocacy, decision science.
- health promotion and health behavioral changes in resource limited settings, community engagement and interventions, health planning, and health communication.
The faculty member(s) will be expected to teach at the masters and doctorate level of the GHP and will also interact closely with faculty members and students from the five graduate institutes through joint appointment by these institutes. The rank and salary of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.
Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate by January 31, 2020 in a relevant field.
