KP Chen Preventive Medicine Foundation established “KP Chen Memorial Lecture in Public Health” in NTU-CPH in memory of Professor Kung-Pei Chen’s 100th Birth Anniversary in 2017. This annual lectureship is awarded to a prominent international individual who has made a significant and unique contribution to contemporary public health.

This year the winner goes to Dr. Thomas A. LaVeist (Dean & Weatherhead Presidential Chair in Health Equity, School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, Tulane University).

We also invite Dr. Wen-Ying Sylvia Chou (National Cancer Institute, USA), Prof. Myung Ki (Department Head, Department of Preventive Medicine, College of Medicine, Korea University), Prof. Linda Neuhauser & Prof. Winston Tseng (University of California, Berkeley), Prof. Duan-Rung Chen (Institute of Health Behaviors and Community Sciences, NTU) to join the 2024 KP Chen Memorial Lecture in Public Health, and International Symposium on Health Equity and Resilience.
