Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Provide a personal-use virtual desktop or server according to user’s requirement of computing resource, with dynamic adjustment of CPU cores, memories, GPU, disk space and installation of preferred OS as well as application software. Suitable for those whose PC performance is not enough or having software issues.

 

Who can apply:

  • Windows VDI: NTUCPH faculty members, post-doc fellows, students, research assistants
  • Linux VDI: NTUCPH faculty members

 

 

 

High Performance Computing (HPC)

Provide a host with higher performance then normal workstations. Suitable for those who needs lots of CPU cores or memories for long time computing or complex analysis.

 

Who can apply:

  • NTUCPH faculty members, post-doc fellows, students, research assistants

 

 

Network Attached Storge (NAS)

Provide 250 TB network attached sortage for VDIs and HPCs with internal 10Gbps high speed transmission, to significantly solve problems of insufficient disk space and to efficiently improve file sharing. Suitable for big data analysis such as DNA sequencing or IoT.
